Janet Macunovich 32 Report post Posted February 6, 2012 We've noticed, and heard from a few others, that our website is loading very slowly sometimes. We're pretty sure that's not grounded in our site configuration as it happens only sometimes. We'd like to correct this. It may have some connection to the lines or operations of the company from which we rent computer space for the site -- our "Host," as it's called in this new world we're learning. Our programmers tell us that fixing problems like this depends on detail, to pin down connections or codes that are the issue. So if you have had trouble connecting, we would really appreciate your help -- tell us the date and time it happened and what browser you use. We should be able to discern a pattern. For instance, we have seen:Saturday evening, January 28 response time (time required to load and display the site) was abyssmal. Using Firefox and Safari.2/6/12 from 9 to about 9:30 a.m., slow.
