Your Letters 2 Report post Posted August 24, 2013 I haven't grown many zuchini's over the years. Now I am growing them and I have lots of male flowers but not many female ones per plant (I actually have about 2 actual little zuchinis per plant right now). I vaguely remember you saying something should be done about the male flowers, but I cannot remember what that was...??? Can you help clarify? Thanks,S. U. Margaret Thele 16 Report post Posted August 26, 2013 Generally the first flowers always produced on the curcurbits - melon, squash, cukes - are the male flowers. Sometimes I belive that weather conditions can play a part. Be patient and with the warm weather you should be starting to get female flowers.
