moose2frog 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2013 I volunteer with a group who plants our local museum and Historical Society gardens, and each year we begin to look for new perennials to plant in our gardens. However, we are a 501C3, and so have a limited budget. We're looking for good plants, but at a reasonable cost, and a good size to begin with. We need the gardens to look good, ...we don't like to start out with the "tiny" little pots,...that don't do well and take so long to develop. We've ordered once in a while from catalogs, but not had good results. Are there any catalog companies that anyone has used with good results?? Any local nurseries that you would recommend? (We're in Saginaw county)....thanks for your help.

Margaret Thele 16 Report post Posted March 22, 2013 Boy Van Atta's in East Lansing is one I can think of - check for nurseries around Bay City - long ago I used to sell perennials out there to a couple nurseries
