Hi, I had read a few of the tutorials on how to prune a tree/keep it small. Based off of how I think I comprehended the information, is the attached image with possible spots to cut correct? Our yard is shallow and has several of these pines along the back perimeter. Rather than have them removed and replace with smaller/decorative-type trees, I'd like to see if I can maintain a smaller size so they don't eventually eat the yard. Thank you!
Red pine family, two needles per bunch, attached by stalk to branch, planted at entrance to a park, so could be landscape or native tree. It doesn't look like an Austrian, Scotch or Jack pine cone to me--could the cone be immature? Thanks! Monica
